Despite the A38 being closed for roadworks, Shipham Gorge being closed due an accident and Cheddar Gorge allegedly being closed for rock clearing we all managed to arrive within 15 minutes of the start time, a quick romp down to the ladder which Will rigged.

The foam line was about six foot up the wall, presumably from last week’s wet weather. Once up the ladder the crawl was pretty wet with the final puddle putting all but Casey off!

Once back down the ladder we all made our way back up the cave trying to convince Casey that this was in fact one of the smaller, least impressive caves under the Mendips, not sure he believed us!
