For the last trip of the year we had a quiz/scavenge hunt down Goatchurch Cavern, it was a timed event of 1 hour underground in teams of two. Everyone set of at different speeds finding answers and points throughout the cave.

Everyone arrived back in the Boulder Chamber in good time (no penalties this year) where we sang a couple of Carols before adjourning to the Woodborough.

After marking all the sheets it really was a thriller with Andy and Rachel just missing out to James and Tim who had full marks, the prestigious trophy was awarded and for the second year in a row now resides at the Charterhouse Centre.

Well done to all who took part, it was great to see so many people underground and the singing was a personal highlight of the year. Thanks to Yvette who assisted me putting out all the cards, which inevitably involved visiting the entire system
